The American Conservatives (AC) is reporting that Donald Trump has officially won the GOP presidential nomination.

The news comes just a few days after the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, where the Republican candidate won more than 1 million votes.

The conservative publication reported that Trump received 1.3 million votes in Ohio and that he is now officially the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee.

The publication also reports that Trump’s victory is likely to be “one of the biggest and most historic victories for a major party nominee in American history.”

Trump, who is the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, was endorsed by House Speaker Paul Ryan, the Republican Conference chair, the New York Times editorial board, and many other conservative leaders.
