A young Cypriot migrant from Cyprus is hoping to go to America.
The 28-year-old is from the southeastern town of Banyas, which is located about 25 kilometers (19 miles) from the border with Turkey.
He said he was hoping to apply for a work permit for a year.
However, the Cypriots government says his application is being denied.
He has applied for the necessary documents and applied for a travel visa for Turkey, but the Cyprus government has rejected both.
In the past, there have been several cases where Cyprians have attempted to enter the United States, but have been denied entry.
The latest case came after an American citizen from the southern city of New Orleans tried to enter a United States airport.
The Cypriotic government has since said it will allow American citizens from the United Kingdom and other countries to enter Cyprios borders, though not the island nation’s main tourist destination.
The situation is not as bad in the north of Cyprus, where Cywese residents have not been able to cross the border into Turkey, though some have been allowed to leave.
